&OR Collective began in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic - when pause was inevitable and we had a chance to reflect, reset, and consider both our individual collective impact on our planet. We found ourselves shifting when it came to fashion - our 9-5 wardrobe was no longer, and we began to seek out more timeless options that would stand the test of time. More often than not, in particular when looking at clothing composition labels, we found ourselves disappointed, and our personal shift to seeking more sustainable pieces, without sacrificing the contemporary style and quality we love, was near impossible to see through.

And thus, &OR Collective was born. We start with a promise - to create pieces that transcend time and place - ones that we’d feel equally appropriate and comfortable in barefoot at home or for a night out with friends.

This grounding ethos, supported by our commitment to using certified, cleaner yarns and knitting our pieces with our signature zero-waste technique, and ensuring everything is fully recyclable, creates our holistic sustainability promise and has inspired our collection development since launch, and our newest, New Beginnings, is no different.
