As we move into 2026, we’re making a defining change at Hem:

We are ending discount campaigns, permanently.

No Black Friday. No seasonal sales. No promotional pricing.

Hem has always been built around the idea of creating pieces that feel relevant not just this season, but for many years to come. Our collection is designed to be evergreen, developed over long collaborations, refined carefully, and made to last well beyond trend cycles.

Over time, discount culture has made it harder for design to stand on its own. It teaches people to wait. It shifts focus away from the work itself. And it slowly erodes the value of what so many talented designers and craftspeople pour years into creating.

That never felt quite right to me.

So we’re choosing a clearer path. From now on, full price is the standard. Not as a tactic, but as a reflection of what we believe our work represents.

This allows us to focus entirely on what matters: bold design, enduring quality, and long-term value, for your home, for your projects, and for the people who make these objects possible.

Hem has always tried to lead rather than follow. I hope this move contributes to a broader shift away from constant promotions and back toward design that stands on its own.

You can expect ambitious, exciting launches from us in the years ahead.
