From the pasture-fed sheep of the North of England to handloomed cottons grown, spun and dyed within their native soil, every HERD piece begins close to the ground and close to home, whether that’s Lancashire, India, or rural Japan.

We work within heritage systems that nourish the land and the people who work it. Small farms. Traditional dyeing. Slow processes. No chemicals. No shortcuts. Just materials made in rhythm with nature, designed to last and, eventually, to return to the soil as gently as they came from it.

Because for us, clothing is not just about style. It’s about stewardship. It's about choosing a slower way, where every thread carries a sense of place and purpose.
