We want to feel special and look good but also care about the planet and want to do the right thing. Clothes are mostly made in ways that are harmful to people and the planet, and it's hard to sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to sustainability claims.

Claims and jargon weren't enough for us either - which is why at HERD we source our own fleeces directly from farmers and make our own yarn in the way we want to. Which is without toxic chemicals - just organic detergents, plant dyes, naturally occurring mordants and water.
