Sea change: The Heritage Foundation partnered with Alliance Defending Freedom to root out DEI bureaucracy from IBM—once known for its dedication to merit and excellence—and won.

“As shareholders, we grieve what IBM has become—a company where ‘I’ve Been Misled’ now overshadows its once-proud ethos,” write Heritage Chief Advancement Officer Andrew Olivastro and his father, Rich Olivastro.
“Fortunately, a reckoning is here. The Heritage Foundation’s shareholder resolution against IBM made waves,” they said.

The ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ Gets a Thumbs Up from Heritage Action

One step closer: The House voted last week to approve a “reconciliation” that included tax and spending cuts.

Heritage Action for America, a sister organization to The Heritage Foundation, announced its support the day before the bill's passage, saying it “makes significant strides to advance President Trump’s key legislative goals.”
The bill now goes to the Senate, where it can be improved, Heritage Action says.

Biden Hid Millions in Defaulted Student Loans

Buying votes: New data show that the Biden administration’s push to “forgive” student loans even extended to hiding delinquency among student loan borrowers.

“Data on delinquencies was not made available to credit bureaus, so millions of borrowers made no payments, and their credit reports remained immaculate,” write Heritage Research Fellow EJ Antoni and Defending Education Vice President Sarah Parshall Perry.

How to Confront China’s Aggression

On offense: The Biden administration’s weak stance towards China has left ample room for a strong U.S. defense against what remains our greatest external threat.

“The Trump administration needs to focus on rebuilding the war-fighting abilities of the United States to make America safe again,” says Dan Green, research fellow in the Allison Center.
American development of 6G before China is also critical. “Whoever masters 6G first will enjoy not just a formidable economic edge, but also a decisive national security advantage,” write Rob Greenway, director of the Allison Center, and Jarrett Lane, member of the Spring 2025 Young Leaders Program.

Fit to print: The New York Times featured Project Esther in an in-depth piece exploring Heritage's work to combat antisemitism.

“The White House and other Republicans have called for actions that appear to mirror more than half of Project Esther’s proposals,” it says.

A tragedy: In the wake of the murder of Israeli embassy staff, Heritage released a statement condemning the killings.

“The barbarous attack is a brutal reminder of the alarming rise of antisemitism in the United States,” said Robert Greenway, director of the Allison Center for National Security.
