Destination taxation: If Congress lets the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act sunset, taxes will rise across the board and the economy will worsen, as a new Heritage paper explains.

“Americans could face the largest tax increase in generations…. Individual tax rates would increase, and the standard deduction and child tax credit would be cut in half,” writes Research Fellow in Tax Policy Preston Brashers.

Trump’s Approach to 3-Year Ukraine War Explained

Time to end: Three years and $177 billion later, President Trump is taking steps to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Heritage experts Victoria Coates and Rob Greenway explain his approach in two helpful videos.

“Simply put, President Donald Trump inherited an untenable situation caused by the Biden administration,” says Coates.
Greenway says that “there has been little progress made on either side in the last two years.”

Illegal Immigration Fuels Mass Homelessness

Far from home: “Sanctuary” cities like New York and Chicago have seen homelessness skyrocket. Cracking down on illegal immigration will help, but reforms are still needed to help homelessness citizens.

“The goal of assistance should be to help people improve their lives and overcome barriers to employment and healthy functioning,” writes Rachel Sheffield, research fellow in Heritage’s Center for Health and Welfare Policy.
