What’s Nature’s Favorite Hangout Spot?

Hint: It’s Right Outside Your Door.

This edition is dedicated to the untapped potential of our gardens, patios, and outdoor spaces. We know our Buddy Community has tremendous empathy for all living things, and we are dedicated to continuing to work together to discover how small acts of care can ripple into big impacts for wildlife, pollinators, and our planet.

One of our greatest naturalists understood that every organism, element, and process, from a butterfly, beetle, breeze, or blade of grass—plays a role in sustaining the balance of ecosystems.

Conservation is a team sport.

Bird Buddy’s deep admiration and love of birds led to our next-gen designs that embrace the entire ecosystem. Now we want to give all of nature a voice, and inspire deeper connections, so we can learn, and contribute, to a healthier planet.

We’re excited to share some of our Wonder Team’s design process with our BB Community.

Pollinator Party.

Here’s a simple, fun way to attract pollinators like bees and butterflies,

1. Use a shallow dish, plate, or even a pie tin.
2. Fill it with clean water, but keep it shallow (pollinators can drown in deep water).
4. Add colorful stones, marbles, or cork pieces as landing pads.
5. Place it in your garden near flowering plants.

Pollinators need water for hydration and to regulate body temperature. The stones give them a safe spot to perch, and the bright colors attract them. Refresh the water every 1–2 days to keep it clean and mosquito-free.

Bonus tip: Sprinkle a pinch of salt or add a tiny drop of seawater to mimic natural mineral sources they love!
