Over the past year, we have been navigating unprecedented challenges in the coffee industry. The coffee “C” market, which sets the baseline price for raw “green” coffee beans, has surged by a surprising 70%. This dramatic increase affects the cost of the specialty-grade beans we meticulously select and roast for you. I have attached a chart below to show you the “C” market increase over the past year:

At this crossroads, we faced a difficult decision: either compromise on the exceptional quality of our coffee or adjust our prices. Upholding our commitment to provide you with the finest specialty coffee every single day is at Schuil Coffee's core and what makes us truly different. Lowering our standards is simply not an option we are willing to consider.

To continue delivering the rich and flavorful coffee you’ve come to love, we find it necessary to implement a modest price increase of approximately 8% on most items. For example, a 12oz bag that was previously $11.99 will now be $12.99. This change will take effect on November 1, 2024.
